Our Story
Project Implementation (2018–2025)
From 2018 to 2025, the Youth Strength Association (YSA) has focused on addressing the social needs, emergency assistance, and necessities of youth, particularly in Kyauk Phyu Township. Between 2018 and 2019, YSA successfully implemented the “Social Accountability Strengthening Project” and the “Strengthening the Communication of CSOs (SCC) Project.
In 2019–2020, the organization expanded its reach with a community-based disaster risk reduction initiative and COVID-19 emergency response activities across 8 villages, 11 urban wards, and 5 COVID-19 centers. During 2022–2023, YSA promoted inclusion and equality through the “Creating a Non-discrimination Youth Environment Project,” engaging diverse youth groups and continuing to operate. Since 2023, has led emergency food distribution and organizational development efforts.
Currently, in 2024–2025, YSA is concurrently implementing the “Pone Renovation & Food Distribution” and “Youth Capacity Building” projects, further strengthening community resilience and youth empowerment.


The Goal
Summary
