COVID-19 emergency response activities
The HARP-F funded COVID-19 Emergency Response Project was carried out in Kyaukphyu town in collaboration with local governments and civil society organizations, delivering hygiene kits and food to 11 wards and 5 quarantine centers.
Emergency response and assistance
Since Cyclone Mokha in 2024, the Kyauk Phyu CSOs Emergency Relief Network (KCERN), which includes various civil society organizations in Kyauk Phyu Township, has been established. Youth, civil society organizations, and donors have joined forces to provide emergency food supplies to disaster-affected areas in collaboration with relevant local authorities.
Emergency response and assistance
Starting in 2024, Youth Strength Association (YSA) is implementing an emergency multi-purpose cash transfer program to address the basic livelihood needs of displaced families in Kyaukphyu Township, with funding from People In Need (PIN).
